Off-White "Impressionism"

Off-White "Impressionism"

The new Off-White spring summer 2019 men's collection is inspired by a style of painting which originated from a group of Paris-based artists whose independent exhibitions brought them to prominence during the 1870s and 1880s.
Impressionism is a 19th-century art movement characterized by relatively small, thin, yet visible brush strokes, open composition, emphasis on accurate depiction of light in its changing qualities.

The prints found from this collection are from an 1874 canvas by Édouard Manet, of his friend Claude Monet painting in his studio boat. Virgil says that this collection is a portrait of him painting himself in the right light.

This collection features a wide variety from tie-dye effects to painted on denim jackets to all over prints, with garments including T-Shirts, button-downs, sweaters, trousers, shorts, and various outerwear which are complemented by a number of accessories, ranging from belts and scarves to caps, socks, and bags.
